Been hot and dry but the garden is hanging in there surviving on moisture reserves from all the rainfall in June and early July. New potatoes are great and had the first new tomato today. Even got inspired to pick a pail of Saskatoons since they are the best crop in years. Mosquitoes are terrible though.
Looking good, Ralph. We've been eating peas, green beans, new potatoes, and a couple tomatoes so far. Lettuce for salad tonight.
ReplyDeletePeas just starting to show a few full pods here. Beans need a few more days to go before any picking. Tomatoes doing great and some edible already..
DeleteWe got 100F weather here just in time to ruin the raspberry crop
