67 years ago today an event occurred that would be pretty important over the passing of time. My dad bought that 52 Mercury sedan. The same one you see in the occasional youtube video I post. Obviously I had no clue back then just how long that car was going to be part of the family. In spite of nearly 35 years of neglect parked in a bush I was able to bring it back to road worthiness and enjoy miles of fun. I put this video together 7 years ago to mark the anniversary. Includes plenty of still photos of us with the car over the 1960s. Seems hard to believe that it was only our "daily driver" for ten years. Its been my project/play car for almost 12 years now.
